The first agreement is with GROS, a company that provides solutions to safely manage hazardous materials throughout their entire life cycle. The second agreement is with BIG, a spin-off from the Belgian Fire brigade that supports emergency teams involved in incidents with chemical substances. As a result of these agreements, users of ChemUnity's online software solutions now have access to over 200.000 synonyms for more than 15.000 chemicals all with the relevant classification codes (UNSPSC, CAS, ADR, EINECS, etc.) and other information relating to safe handling. Sourcing Portal customers can copy this information -available in English, German, French and Dutch- into their own product catalogues free of charge. While our core business is to supply online software solutions to industrial chemical buyers, it is extremely important to enhance these tools with relevant content to make our users´ jobs easier. About GROS GROS (www.gros.nl) enables customers to translate MSDS sheets, product-labels and transportation-emergency-cards with an ingenious multilingual phrase-management database that takes into account local requirements in each of 23 European countries.
