ChemUnicator - Issue 18 - June 2002 Huntsman pilots newest version for ChemUnity's Sourcing Portal Huntsman is the first customer to implement and test ChemUnity’s recently launched version 3.01 of the Sourcing Portal throughout a number of its sites in Europe, including Belgium, France, Italy and the UK. Depending on the results, Huntsman will decide on rolling out the online tool further to all purchasers within the organization in Europe. With the Sourcing Portal, Huntsman will focus on streamlining the routine requesting of quotes for the so-called B, C and D raw materials: products that fall short of being extremely strategic to its operations but still represent a significant value and where time constraints often compromise optimal procurement results.
